Generally speaking Yom Kippur is about fasting. But this year, with a little nudging from the BF, we decided to have people over for some pre-fasting feasting. Since M recently learned how to make sushi from her grandma in the South, we figured sushi would clearly be the best idea. So M came over with all the fixings including vinegar white rice (white rice with apple cider vinegar), seaweed wrappings, and I sauteed some veggies. And then we learned how to roll everything up and slice away. The result of was delicious, vegan, and gluten free.
